PROJECT DESCRIPTION
I.IAR is the acronym for Interactive Instrument for Autistic Revolution.
And that is what it does: it generates pirate radio messages to coordinate non-existent conspirators.
Messages are created in real-time, based on hidden pattern I.IAR seems to detect by watching passer-bies' movement.
The project has been exhibited once only, and just for a few hours.
Soon after the artshow started, Italian Police (Carabinieri and Polizia Municipale) intercepted the radio transmission and irrupted the gallery, blocking the exhibition and interrogating curators and organizers for several hours.
HOW IT WORKS
1. A webcam-based software analyses patterns created by passing-by people...
2. ... and passes those informations to a phrase-generator software that analysing the data creates a message, that is...
3. ...spelled by a Voice-to-Speech software, and is automatically sent over the Air with a radio transceiver + antenna
