PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Hypnomachia is a performative installation where two sleeping subjects engage in a subliminal conflict,
mutually influencing each other’s brain activity.
As both sleepers unconsciously attempt to manipulate the other’s neural rhythms
in a form of biological propaganda, a real-time sonification grants the audience access to this hidden, silent confrontation.
PROTOCOLS
Hypnomachia implements a recursive BCI protocol to stage a conflict between two sleeping participants.
The system employs a cross-connected architecture where EEG input signals are analyzed and converted
into tDCS output stimuli in real-time.
This generates a continuous biological feedback loop, resulting in mutual brainwave entrainment.
Project developed with dr. Alessio Chierico under the collective name “Qualia Industries”.
